How far is Boomrock from Wellington city?

Boomrock is approximately 30–45 minutes from Wellington CBD, yet feels completely removed from the city. We can coordinate coach, van or helicopter transfers for your group.

Do you offer exclusive venue hire?

Yes. All events include exclusive use of the venue, ensuring complete privacy and uninterrupted access to the property.

How many guests can you host?

We accommodate intimate groups of 10 through to events of 140 guests, across seated and cocktail-style formats.

Do you offer half-day or evening-only events?

Yes. From short strategy sessions to full-day conferences or evening celebrations, formats can be tailored to suit your schedule.

Is there parking available?

Limited on-site parking is available (up to ten vehicles). For larger groups, we recommend coordinated transfers to ensure seamless arrival.

The Lodge

Perched high above the Cook Strait, The Lodge offers sweeping coastal views and exclusive use for up to 120 seated or 140 cocktail guests. With its open fire, wharf beams and expansive deck, the setting feels warm, generous and distinctly Boomrock.

The Bunkers

A purpose-built facility designed to host our range of activities, overlooking the sea and offering an intimate, character-filled setting for smaller gatherings. With world-class shooting facilities and expert instruction, the experience is immersive, engaging and quietly competitive. Ideal for groups of up to 24 seated or 40 cocktail.

The Track
