Our clifftop ceremony area is located just a short walk along the coastline from The Lodge. Surrounded by uninterrupted panoramic views, this idyllic setting is a romantic and intimate space to share your vows.
After you’ve said ‘I do,’ your guests can return to The Lodge to enjoy canapes, bubbles and a range of light-hearted activities, while you and your photographer explore a number of secluded spots around the property that provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.
Enjoy a delicious seasonal three-course menu prepared by Resident Chef Warren Maddox. Celebrating fresh local ingredients, along with carefully selected wine pairings, Warren will create an exquisite reception menu to suit your style and tastes.
Pipinui Point is the perfect way to relax and reflect at the end of your wedding day. Located just north of The Lodge, finish the night with an outdoor bath or cosy up in front of the fire before waking up to native birdsong and a delicious continental breakfast.

We had the most special day. Our guests could not get over Boomrock – they loved The Lodge, the food, the setting (so basically the entire experience!!) Boomrock is such a stunning and magical place and we were beyond impressed at being able to have our wedding in such an amazing setting.

Seating capacity
For a sit-down wedding, Boomrock comfortably accommodates seating for up to 120 guests. For a cocktail style wedding, we can accommodate 140 guests.

Boomrock’s provides an outstanding venue for your wedding day, personally tailored and unique for you.

Example pricing for a Friday or Saturday wedding with 60 guests, including venue hire, transport and catering. (Prices include GST and exclude beverages)
Transport
Due to our property being on a functioning farm we arrange all transport on and off the premises. There is parking available for your vendors and up to five guest vehicles.

Boomrock is conveniently located on Wellington's West Coast, only half an hour by road from the City and 6 minutes by helicopter.
